Arrow How to measure custom boots?

I want to sell a pair of custom paddock boots, but as they are no basic size -I'm around a 6.5/7, but I feel like that's too vague-- is there a good way to measure boots for putting up in the ads category? Any boot fitting experts have some advice on conveying info like that?
These wer really pricey and never worn, so I don't want to put up a lame ad, I'd like to make sure the buyer knows what she's getting....
    Thank you!

I think for boots it's most common to give measurements like:
    1) length of boot sole from edge of heel to tip of toe (longest point)
    2) width across ball of foot area
    3) measurement around the ankle
    4) perhaps the height? Or maybe that's just for field boots...

And there's probably some I've missed there. Maybe check out a custom boot website that can give some self-measuring tips and it will help you with ideas?
