    Default Brigand Silk

Can anyone tell me anything about a grey horse by the name of Brigand Silk? I ran across two beautiful portraits (photographs of him) and was wondering what his story is. He obviously was much loved. What I've been able to discern thus far was he was either a racing QH

    or a TB, http://www.pedigreequery.com/brigand+silk

bred by a Jack W. Dube for Wichita Land & Cattle Co. The picture on the QH query looks like him, though he is very breedy. I'll try to post pictures of the portraits I've found.

Here is a link to the pictures/photographs

Going back to my QH racing days, Brigand Silk was a QH that set many records, won several BIG races and was Champion 2 year old in 1985 - He was sired by Beduino. Hope that helps.
