    Default Favorite O/F exercises?

So we just drug the ring and moved all the jumps and are looking for some ideas on how to set them up again.

What are your favorite jumping exercises for horse and rider? Is there a good website that I can find with diagrams/striding? I know we're going to set up a skinny fence and I'd like a gymnastic of some sort, but we need to spice it up a little. Thanks in advance!

My favorite gymnastic for the rider and for a rushing horse is a set of 4 jumps set 2 strides apart.
over the first with hands on your head
over the second with hands on your shoulders
over the third with hands on your knees
over the fourth with hands on your toes

Ok, my favorite is a swedish combination! It looks really cool and is fun to ride, makes your property look really professional as well.

Ok set two jumps (I usually do short combinations, 1-3 strides for the one)

Ok you will need two poles, set them both at a slant, and 2 notches apart from each other on both the higher side and the lower side. Following me? It is hard to describe.
Same thing on the next jump! Only the opposite way! Looks like a swedish oxer moved apart , LOL.

    They key is straighness!

Here are 3 grids the Millars use (with diagrams, striding and advice from Amy Millar):

This is a good jumping exercise from Bernie Traurig

I'll be posting another grid with a former French team rider on Monday...

    Have fun!
