    Default Hormonal or Preggo?

    Can a mare that has never had a foal drip white milk......exposure to stallion is supposed to be no.

    Yes non pregnant mares can drip milk. It is seen in racehorses occasionally as well as other mares. Potential causes include stress, some think estrogenic feeds. Sometimes doing nothing helps, some mares respond to corticosteroids and some respond to pergolide.
