    Default RIP a Finger Lakes Finest, Powerful Storm

    It is with great sorrow that I pass along the sad news of the passing of a FLF, Powerful Storm. I know he had some fans here, so I felt it important to let you folks know. He was an amazing horse, eager to learn and always the first to the fence line for a mint. He was really starting to come into his own, and was truly a bright shining star.

    This was the first horse I had to make the decision to euthanize, and although it was heartbreaking, it was the right thing to do. He was sick for only a few days, was in the best of hands to aid his fight and recovery, but some things are just out of our hands. I couldn't let him suffer. His pasture mate, my other OTTB, just gave me huge hugs. Sometimes they just know.

    Ohhh no. TMC, I am SO sorry for the loss of your Powerful Storm. I remember him well.I really really liked him. So very sorry. Take care.

    I remember him too! I am so so sorry for your loss. It is never an easy decision to make. May he Rest in Peace.
