Please add me to your PT list. I want to loose about 30 pounds by March. Thanks, Becca
It is not the size of the dog in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the dog.
I'm so busy.....I don't know if I found a rope or lost my horse.
Alright put your big girl panties on and deal with it!

Oh I hope it's not too late for me to get on the list. I'm noe of those who needs to kick the sugar habit, and start an excercise habit (treadmill is in the mail http://chronicleforums.com/images/cu...s/winkgrin.gif)
I can go the distance & I'll stay on track, no I won't accept defeat. It's an uphill slope, but I won't lose hope. Till I go the distance and my journey is complete.

Greetings Dancing Lawn,
I noticed that you had asked about how to initiate a "group" PT. My delima is that I have never PT'ed or been the subnject of a "PT", so am therefore unsure if I receive a notice.....or is there soemthing that I will need to check.
Thanks a bunch for doing this - you are a gem!!!!

Not only do I have to lose weight - but another NY resolution - is to begin to check my spelling prior to hitting "post now"

I can't lurk either -- 12 more pounds to lose and MUCH more exercise. My instructor told me to use my stomach muscles and I said I was.... and worse, I've already had some degree of bonethinning (at WAY too young) so I need to start weight bearing exercises.

Hi, everyone. I've been trying to do a group PT, but everytime, I get as far as confirm participants/post new topic, and my computer freezes. There are over 50 in the group. Is there a nother way of doing this? Maybe through a Yahoo groups e-mail thing? I know so little about computers, I can just do the basics. Time for me to sign up for a computer for dummies course! And I've given up croisants for breakfast!

I'd be willing to set up a password protected (by invitation only) PT type thing on my website...And seeing as how it's the weekend, I should have time to get it done by Sunday.
Let me know what you think- and if you all want me to do it, what kinds of features do you want? Do you want to have a daily or weekly weigh in? A place to put everyone's goals versus what they've been doing? http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif Let me know!!!

Kels, that would be really cool http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif The goals/progress thing would be good. Also, I am not sure if we could set it up like a group or not, but there is a website that you can track your food at www.fitday.com It helps me realize when I am hitting the junk food pretty hard. I haven't used it in awhile http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...n_rolleyes.gif

Me too - why is it so easy to gain it, then it won't leave??? Now just starting low carb - unfortunately, a McGriddle somehow doesn't fit into the weight loss plan! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_frown.gif My baby weight is also nearing 3- I suppose it is WELL past time for it to go!

All right http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...icon_smile.gif I am at work right now but I can start writing the code in the down time...Then after work, riding, and the Ohio State game tonight I will get cracking!
Keep the ideas coming- and when it's ready I will post the URL so everyone can come join...
I was just asked to set up an OTTB forum too so look forward to that!

Oooh, I need to join, too. 30+ lbs to lose. Atkins was really working last spring, then I fell off the wagon. I guarantee the horses would appreciate me more! http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c.../icon_razz.gif

Kels, you're the best! I like the idea of a weekly weigh-in. Goals are good, too. The list of people wanting to join in just keep growing! This will be the year of the fit equestrians!

Me too, me too! I've realized that while I would like to lose about 12 - 15 pounds, at my age I have to pick - body or face, so I'm in for about 5 to 8 instead! And by the middle of February please...!
