The BEST I have EVER heard of?!!
A QH mare named Topless Bar Girl. I think she was one of Bobby Ingersols horses in the early 80's. She was active on the Calif show circuit.

My horse's JC registered name is "Serpent Ruler." Who wants to call a horse "King of the Snakes?" http://chronicleforums.com/groupee_c...s/icon_eek.gif
There is a reason PONY is a four letter word!

Know a spindly bad tempered bay thing called Worm. His personality is as pleasant as his name!

Not so unusual, but fitting. My 3yo APHA gelding's registered name is Bumps and Bruises. I've had him since he was a yearling and he's lived up to his breeder's namesake... very accident prone, but nothing ever serious. We call him Bumper or Bump... or the long version my son gave him... Rubber Baby Buggy Bumper. He's a very sweet guy.

I think PB&J Samich would be a cute name.

LMAO I saw Peanuts Envy at the State show this weekend... Didn't think about that name too hard until now and I almost fell out of my chair!

I once rode a pony named Thingy.

    Not very interesting *coughunlessyoursickmindedcough*...

I just thought it was a kinda sad thing to have to call a pony.

A liver chestnut that used to board with us named "Grenn Pickles" it was transformed from "green Prickles" and somehow lost the "r" between owners... but I don't know that green prickles is any better lol.

Had a OTTB named "Thats Berger" who I've mentioned on some of the name boards aplenty. Ironically we bought him at bunchees and outbid the meat guy.

My mare was "Betcha Sweet Blues" (out of Sweet Aspiratons by Blues Parade)

We also named a mare OTT "Sonata" as an extension of her barn namre "Snot" because she WAS one.

There goes that one name only rule right out the window!

We named one of our babies Pickles for a barn name.

PaulaM, I used to teach riding lessons to the new owners of "Bimbo". He died a few years back at the age of 38. I ran into your friend at a show and somehow got on the subject of him and she didn't even know he was still hanging around. She ended up coming out to a small horse show in our neighbourhood to see him go!

My trainer's Young Riders Nationals horse - Cattywampus. She is a roan appy/TB cross; her coloring is all cattywampus.

My friend's horse's name always gets a giggle. Her flamboyant grey gelding's show name is Drag Queen. And it is so fitting for him!!
