Default Gotta Brag On My Boy!!!

We went to Perry,GA. for the AKC Agility Trial and my guy Murphy(Aussie) did GREAT!!! This was his 3rd Akc trial and his 1st time traveling and staying at a hotel. The first nite we got to the hotel at about 10:00p.m. and he was up because he is a "only" dog at home and we were sharing the room with a friend and her 2 Beagles so they were a little like kids having a a "sleepover" but everyone settled down somewhat.
First day of trial he was good but I made some silly handling mistakes so no "Q's" but some good things like gave his first startline stay and he had moved up to Open Standard and handled 12 weaves with no issues.
Second day got his final NJWW "Q" and his title and a "Q" in his Open Standard.
Today we moved up to OJWW and had a little tough time on our weave entrance because it was from a tunnel that he came rocketing out of and boy did he try but he entered on the wrong shoulder but he knew 3 poles in and stopped and looked at me like "oops" and went right back in and got them all. Unfortunately we missed a jump so no "Q" but a real "chuffed" dog who knew he had done well. Finally in his last class(Open Standard) we were perfect and had a great time to get another "Q" and win the 20" division!!!!
Also he celebrated his birthday(3) and his friends gave him a "dog birthday cake" which he thought was fantastic!

Congratulations!!! We had an awesome Perry too! My boy Spencer got his first two double Q's. He would have had three except for major handler error on Weds. My girl aussie Allie finished her Open JWW and Standard titles and got her first two legs in Excellent A JWW and Standard. She Q'd in 5 of her 6 runs.

Yes I go to Jacksonville. With hairy aussies I have to have indoor trials, my boy hates to run in the heat and we probably would not make time. Pictures coming!

We may know some of the same people. I remember one of my friends getting dog birthday cake now that I think about it.

Sorry I did't get any "action" shots(except Murphy chowing down on Birthday cake and I don't have those yet). I think I remember seeing you as we were in the same Open Standard class. PM me if you are coming down for the Oct. Jacksonville show so that we can meet in person(and dog!!!)
