    Default Camps for dogs!

I'm interested in doggy camps! Not boarding but weekend/full week camps where grown ups can go with their dogs and do things like dock diving, agility, etc.

Anything in the New England area?
    Forward momentum!

Here's one in NH. I've been to a few dog sport events run by the owner and it's always been a lot of fun.

Not sure about camps, but Dock Dogs is one of the friendliest groups Ive ever been involved with. EVERYONE was so nice, cheers each other on, gives tips on how to do better and will go out of their way to help. If you are interested in this, alot of local chapters have practices that you can attend for free (or a small non member fee, like $5) to see if your dog likes dock diving.

Im having trouble accessing www.dockdogs.com site right now, so I cant tell you what chapter is closest to you. They also have a fairly active forum at dockdogs.com

I remember watching on Animal Planet a few years ago vacation/camp like destinations where dogs and their owners could go and rent out a cabin or pitch a tent and be with fellow dog lovers.
They had doggie games, social time, swimming, etc.

I remember the show had several differnet places all over the US and I do remember a few being up in New England.

Yes! MrB would love to go to one in early fall. I forget where it was but have it saved on my home computer. It was somewhere in the north because he talked about going to a Red Sox game while up there... Unfortunately, I think the price of gas and time off work would be the limiting factors for us (we'd be driving from GA, and don't want to fly with dogs). I'll look up that camp, but I do remember finding a few (all far from us of course) through a google search.
MrB's attempt at talking like a horse person, "We'll be entering in the amateur hunter-gatherer division...."

    Sounds like a fun!

My aunt and uncle travel with their dogs to tropical resorts; the photos are so cute.

Amazing what you can do with your dog now-a-days!
