Default Northern VA - Western Riding Lessons?

A friend is looking for beginner western riding lessons in the Northern VA area (Loudon, Fairfax, Fauquier County areas). Can anyone recommend a good facility for western riding lessons? Many thanks!

Lucky Drive Ranch in Catlett, Prince William County teaches Western lessons, I believe.

Thanks for the correction, Rockfish. I get my geography confused! I used to go to their schooling show series (great for no pressure, low level showing in a friendly atmosphere). All I know is that they are on 28 south of Manassas. They teach English, Western and saddleseat lessons.

Good horsemanship is good horsemanship. Only difference is going to be neck reining vs. "plow" reining....beginners aren't going to be doing spins etc. or running barrels.

Good luck to your friend...you might want to go along with them for the first lesson or so (make an excuse you'll take some photos)...check out to make sure the instructor knows their stuff vs. just cowboying around and not teaching the basics.
