Ok, I posted a little bit ago about getting a new baby kitten and how it was kind of sad how excited I was over a baby that wasn't even born yet. Well now he is! He was born just this morning and in my eyes he is the most adorable ball of fur I've seen. Im sure it came as a small surprise to the breeder as I had wanted the black male from the last litter and passed on the black male from this one for a lynx/mink point from this one. (The babies are born solid white, wont know if they are lynx or mink for a couple weeks or so) People have noted before that some breeders of this breed dock the tails. I am proud to say that my little boy is a NATURAL riser rumpy and while I'm fine with docking within the first 48 hours and I absolutely ecstatic that I can get a naturally short tailed baby.

RM: He is a Highlander (aka highlander lynx) Its a new preliminary new breed thats working towards championship status in the TICA registry

TR: His breeder usually updates photo's weekly so Im going to be posting each picture as I get them so others can see the grow up process too!

That's neat; I've not heard of that breed. Do you have a pic of what they look like as adults? I have a chocolate point Balinese and a seal point Siamese, so I'm slightly biased to pointed kitties.

Oh I will. I'll probably make a new thread to keep updating pictures with as I get them. Im really hopping for a medium to long coat length, but both his parents are short hairs so the odds are against me. But I'll still love him anyway!
