OK, ENOUGH ALREADY with the endless TV rehash of the trial.
Can certain TV broadcasts move on to celebrating the 4th instead of rerunning trial snippets and soundbites over and over and over and over with celebrity and wannabe celebrity and never heard of lawyers offering opinions and critiques. Plus the talking heads telling us what we should think.
There are things going on on the 4th worthy of coverage while the jury does what juries do and actually can render an actual verdict instead of wallow in speculation.
Lets move on to "news". There must be something else worth the coverage.

I gave up, watching a Twilight Zone marathon instead.

I agree with you!
I am confused as to why the trial has been going on during a holiday weekend. Does anyone know? My only guess is because the jury is sequestered so they don't want them sitting around with nothing to do over a long weekend.

I just want that beautiful little girl to rest in peace. Someone killed her, or led to her demise, someone covered it up, someone is guilty. But none of that brings her back....while I do want the legal system to punish those responsible, I don't find any of the coverage to be worthwhile watching. She's gone. The legal system needs to get busy and get it done....the morbid fascination with 'watching' it happen is beyond me.

Then again, I remember turning to the Weather Channel when I wanted to see the weather instead of heaviliy editorialized "news updates" including trial rehashing.
The Weather Channel's been a lost cause since John Coleman and Frank Batten sold it out to "big media". There's nothing worse than having a severe squall line bearing down on you and finding them carrying heavily biased "news" and/or re-runs of a storm that occurred 3 decades ago. And their "Local On The Eights" is so general as to be all but useless.
