How often do you give your horse a Vetrolin bath?

I've always rinsed horse off after every ride with vetrolin. Love it. Don't know if it actually helps but I love the smell & I do think it provides a cooling sensation.

In the really hot months, I usually will hose my guy and then sponge him with some linament and vinegar (sometimes this but linament always). I have no idea if it makes a difference, but like whitfield said, the cooling sensation I feel makes me think it does so I do it.

I usually only do it after a hard work out, one in which I think it may be possible for my older mare (24) or my young mare (4) to get sore.
