Looking for a good shipping company that will trailer from VA to Ontario
This is probably not where I should post, but the breeding forum is the only one I check. Would anyone mind giving me some contact information for a shipping company that would ship from VA to Ontario? Thank you in advance!!

Mary Mykytyn in Ontario, she can bring them back on the way home. My fav shipper. Horses get off better than they went on!

I vote for IHT, this winter on the way home from FL with 5 FEI horses in the trailer the recently serviced new F450 committed suicide on a highway in West Virginia. IHT was on the road to come pick-up the horses and finish shipping them to Ontario with a phone call. They were pretty awesome in a crisis situation.

We have used Mark Struthers twice, and both times he had the best price and the horses arrived just fine. http://www.performancehorse.ca/transport.html
I found it fairly hard to find someone that does that route, oddly enough.

I recently shipped a horse from Pennsylvania to Ontario with Brookledge horse transport and was very pleased.

Regarding IHT - I used them once to move 2 mares from one location IN Canada to another and they were great. When I used them to ship those mares to NJ they were HORRIBLE. The man who brought them in a gooseneck did not keep in touch with me and the mares were terrified of him and it was obvious they had been beaten onto the trailer. Would never use them again.

Where in VA? I'm picking up my mare in a couple weeks from Frederick Maryland. If it's somewhat close, I can pick yours up too. Message me on fb if your interested.

I used this guy to go from NY to VA. He's based in VA, so you could try him (although I don't know if he'll do international):
