    Thumbs up

    I love Chaleon!
Beautiful horse, and one of the horses on my list to breed my A Fine Romance daughter to.

I really like both Crooked Willow stallions, and also found Matt Davis to be really honest, knowlegable and forthright.
Congratulations to the handsome youngster and his connections!

just echoing kudos to matt. he's a great, soft-spoken guy who has spent time at the home of chaleon's sire, calido, and who is uniquely knowledgeable in my experience in his educated perspective not just of the holsteiner breed, but specifically of it's merits and uses for the hunter divisions.

he's a great ambassador for the breed in this country that i have enjoyed meeting and discussing holsteiners with on both sides of the pond.

the horse world would be a better place with more like him around.

Not to mention he's a good one to hold your horse or pony in the in-hand classes........(if he's available!)

I have to say that HANDS DOWN, Matt Davis, is one of the most kind, ethical, generous, knowledgeable horse people that I have ever met. I feel lucky to have gotten to know him.

And yes Chaleon is great too! Loved taking pics of the son at Devon and Upperville. http://photosbychristolar.shutterfly.com/12135

I have always loved him. When I was thinking of breeding my mare, I e-mailed back and forth with Matt and he was great.

Matt and I have been friends for a while now and I love what they are currently doing. Holsteiner mares were sent back to Holstein for breeding and more of a concentration of hunters here. I think Matt is very strong in this area and should have great success.
