Whenever I see nice saddles being sold inexpensively (WILDLY inexpensive) I have to wonder if it's someone trying to dump stolen tack.

Or saddles with broken trees, which is not uncommon in Wintec/Collegiate with the Easy Change Gullet...

Or whoever is selling hasn't a clue....my first saddle came from a friend who
found it at a garage sale for $35.

Without seeing the original ads, it's hard to tell. However, there was a teenage girl and her mother last year that was going around suburbs of Atlanta looking to "work in exchange for lessons or a lease" and were then stealing saddles and other tack out of peoples' tack rooms. One saddle was recovered on Craigslist (selling at an incredibly low price) which is how they were caught.

I love this one - a 17.5 inch medium tree Verhan Odysseydressage saddle (adjustable tree so can be adjusted to fit any horse) mahagany color, with girth, located in Sarasota - looks new in picture!

    $1300 - new would be around 4-5K.
