Smile Tony Awards... anyone else excited?

Looking forward to tonight. I haven't actually been to NYC to see most of the new shows nominated... I was last there in March when a lot of them hadn't opened or were just starting previews - bad timing on my part. But I love Broadway and can't wait to see some of the shows as soon as I can (Book of Mormon looks amazing in a ridiculous, sacrilegious sense). Also really hope I can see The Normal Heart before it closes.

I guess not overly excited since I haven't seen any of the nominees. That would be a whine from me.

However, 'Book of Mormon' is of course the talk of Utah and my sister saw it a couple of weeks ago and raved about it big-time. Have friends from Utah going to see it in a couple of weeks but my work and previously scheduled vacation days are such that the dash east won't work for me. Whine.

    I'm looking forward to it.

I enjoy NPH, and I thought he did a nice job hosting a couple of years ago.

I haven't see any of the nominees, but I might get into the city next week, so this could help me decide which show to see.

The Book of Mormon cast recording is $1.99 on Amazon through Monday, and it's absolutely hilarious.

Loved the number with NPH and Hugh Jackman- both very talented performers!

Great show! It was fun to watch the scenes.
