Default Lean on Pete -a MUST read!!

Has anyone read this book? It's incredible! I'm about a quarter of the way through. It's about a homeless teenaged boy working at a very seedy quarter horse race track for a down and out owner. He bonds with his boss's old failing race horse Lean on Pete. I cannot put this book down! It's amazing and horrifying. You must read this!

The author is Willy Vlautin. I must warn you, everyone who's read it said it's pretty sad, but still a great book.
