    Question Cloud Nine Saddle Pads...reviews?

I'm considering purchasing one of these to compliment my Butet, which technically fits my horse well but seems to sink a little low on him. Has anyone had experience with these pads? They seem exceptionally "poofy" in the pics, but lots of pros like/recommend them. Thoughts?

They look awfully thick on their site. Are they sheepskin? They seem very expensive for a fleece and foam pad, just sayin'.

They are synthetic fleece over memory foam. I've heard the synthetic fleece does compact over time...

I personally wouldn't use one, but if your saddle really doesn't fit and you need a quick fix, I'm sure it would do the job.

I have one (a half pad version) and used it while I was bringing a horse back into work, until he developed enough muscle for his saddle to fit normally again. The pads do look fairly poofy but they compress quite a bit - I liked mine and still have it around somewhere...

I have had two and really liked them. They definitely compress down quite a bit from their original poofieness. They are expensive, but I've never seen anything else with similar memory foam -- that's what I really like about it so to me it's worth paying for.
