    Question Calcium Phosphorus Ratio

If the diet (including hay and water) ends up being ruled out as a reason for the calcium phosphorus ratio being out of whack, what other possible reasons could there be???

Calcium is low and phosphorus is very high. Fecal came back negative.

    Any ideas???

Just some thoughts..... How exactly was the diet ruled out as a source of the imbalance? Was everything tested? Are you perhaps feeding wheat bran with just grass hay and grain but and no alfalfa? That can cause the phosphorus to be too high compred to the calcium.
