Thumbs up A gadget that will let you video yourself!

    http://www.geeksaresexy.net/2011/06/...nologyNews+%28[Geeks+are+Sexy]+technology+news%29

I can't wait til this comes out so that I can video myself riding! No more dragging semi-willing victims to video me or trying to ride just in view of my camera!

This is cool!!! It would be even cooler if it could zoom in and out

I think your camera would have to auto zoom. Most do, I think.

That seems like it could be very useful! But it's not actually available yet? Is there a price listed?

Apparently not yet. I think the video says they are hoping for a release next year. I've been looking for something like this for about a year now. Finding nothing I even thought I'd try to cobble something together. I got as far as the idea to have a tag that a sensor would follow but I couldn't work out how it would work exactly I'm glad someone did.

As we progress one step closer to the inevitable robotic replacement of the show photographer.

I think this will be a sought after item for horse show folks who work in an arena.

    I agree.

I hope they decide to price it so it's affordable for the masses.

I have been talking about something like this for YEARS. Saying I wish someone would invent a camera that would lock onto some type of tracking device or something so it would rotate around on a stand and automatically follow your movements without having someone there to do it. I hope this is out soon too!

I told my husband the world needed this idea a few years ago - if only I'd had the technical know-how to make it happen!

Hopefully it will be somewhat reasonably priced.
