Blown disk between C5 & C6... Had to have that fixed. Pocketbook is crying, but Woody is on the way to happy & healthy again.

Jingles (that's dog collar & tag jingles of course ) for fast recovery!

My dog had knee surgery and the haircut was ridiculous. He's part chow and is naturally very fulffy, and they just shaved his leg and a 3"x2" rectangle on his side for the morphine patch.

Yeah, Woody has a shaved butt for the pain patch... And shaved leg for the IV, and the very obvious shaved neck.

Poor guy still has some serious pain even on major drugs on top of the patch. It's breaking my heart, but I know it's going to be OK in the long run. The fact that I can't explain that to him is the really sucky part.

And let me add - everyone be careful letting your smaller dogs jump off of furniture and things... You really don't want to go through this!

Kinsella, I am so sorry to hear about your pup! Stay strong, things will only get better! My dachsie is pretty well 100 percent recovered from his C 6-7 surgery in late January. Every once in awhile he will turn or move a certain way he will let out a small sqeak. Tell me out the pocket book! This same dachsie had C 6-7 done 3 years ago and T 12-13 done 5 years ago! D*mn dachshunds!!!!!
Sending healing wishes for your doggie!

    Default Jingles

Ouch! Good luck to your pup for a steady improvement. With careful management and rehab puppers should return to fully functional soon.

    Jingling dog collars for ya!
