    Default Identity theft/prevention

Anyone use lifelock or similar service that offers Identity theft protection?

After having our farm Visa # stolen & used (card was never even activated, it's for an emergency only & is not in our wallets). And now, last month our personal Visa # stolen, I'm worrying more about identity theft. Also had a friend who had hers stolen and it was a PITA to fix.

As a side note to the stolen # - Had to laught when Macy's called to see if we were making a large on line purchase. DH responded not a chance my wife is shopping at Macys, but if you had said TSC she would have some explaining to do

I am interested in hearing about those two. Also thought I would chime in with parents checking their kids credit report. On a whim we checked our kids, and someone had stolen my then 6 year old daughters info. and was using it. Thank goodness we checked!
