Default so exited...picking up my new mare tomorrow!

OMG I am sooooo exited I can hardly breathe!! About a year ago my trainer got a lovely mare in from Spruce to do some training on that I fell in love with (chestnut out of Lapallo, 3 high white stockings and a blaze). Just a lovely temperement. I rode her a few times and fell head over heels but unfortunatley did not get my own horse sold before Lacey was sold!

Anyway, fast forward 3 months and the kid who bought her has decided that she is just too green for her and she wants a horse that she can just get on and gallop around on without trainer help and doesn't want to spend the time doing hunters first! Soooooo, after watching my Lacey clean up at a major show this past weekend my trainer turned to me and said "well, why not let Dolly be a school horse until she sells. That is really the circuit Dolly needs to be on and then you can get the horse you are dying to get". OMG.........Lacey comes home with me tomorrow!! I just stood there crying when my amazing hubby told me to "go for it".

I will definalty post pics for you all when I pick her up!!

Exited? Is that like being excited? Because, me, personally, I'd be more excited than exited.

Congratulations! That's so awesome. It also sounds like you're another one lucky to have a spouse who gets it.

I bought the horse of my dreams 6 months after I first saw him, when it was a financial stress for me, with my trainer agreeing to him being good for me, too, and haven't regretted it a single second. He's been the motivation for a purchase of horse property, building a barn with a 1 acre run out the back of his stall (and smaller runs for the other horses), and life changes which just make me smile. I hope we get to keep hearing about how great having Lacey in your life is!
My horse is a dressage diva so I don't have to be.

    Thanks, hubby is wonderful!

Yep, I'm so excited I can't even spell it bahahahahahahaha. Someday, hopefully we'll also own some property but with prices the way they are around here it may be a while! Luckily, with Dolly's expenses and board now covered things are good Plus I still get to use her for our trail rides in the mountains (she's a total sweetie but I can't afford to pay full board on two otherwise there's no way I'd let her go) LOL

I've heard there's more to life than an FEI tent and hotel rooms, so I'm trying it.

Thought I'd bump this as I jumped this weekend over some real jumps (well upto 3ft) and it actually went better than expected. A friend got some pictures, I'm still a tad loose in my tack with her but if you'd like to give some opinions here you go!
