Wow, riding that class at 12 with a stallion. Pretty amazing. Great rider! Really nice stallion.
Look forward to seeing the foals!

SUCCESS on the June breeding!!! My dear Mildred is in foal! Carracci has great swimmers - Mildred held on to a 40+ for four (almost five!) days after getting bred and given HCG...
Congrats to you, Mildred, Woody and Donna.

Spirit caught first try here in Maine! But I am breathing deeply and trying to be calm, because we have a large vessicle with twins very close to each other. The vet thinks one wil kill the other and wants to wait for the fetal heartbeat in two weeks to check.

Special treats for Mildred - forgot to mention that she was fetal sexed with a filly!
Saw the handsome man this afternoon, he really is just a lovely horse all around.

Wait! I thought you didn't want to know. So who broke the news to you Donna or Woody?

This is wonderful! 100% success rate, I believe, since my AFR tb mare is also happily pregnant.

I don't quite understand this -- if he has low reliability doesn't that mean he isn't consistently passing this trait on? Why would you want that unless it was a negative trait?

The reliability increases when a stallion has more offspring. This stallion has not many so the reliability is (offcourse) low.

Kyzteke, as Why Not indicated, Carracci bred only lightly over in Europe when he was with Dobel. I've been able to track down approximately a dozen offspring, but Carracci seems to be doing a lot with a little. China Blue 4, competing with Marco Kutscher in the Global Champions Tour: http://www.globalchampionstour.com/p...lue-4/gallery/ Another daughter, Cindy O (Carracci-Cosinus B) was South German Vice Champion for 5-Year Olds. Carracci's daughter, Limone, is the dam of Ciros (v. Cristo) who is successfully competing in Young Horse classes in Europe. He won the 6 Year Old class in Monte Carlo this past March with a score of 8.7. I believe he qualified for the Bundeschampionate.

Cheerful Z by Carentino. Sired some foals in Florida. Good correct stallion with interesting blood. I know there is frozen available on him! Was purchased for an amateur but did show in Europe with Jos Lansing.

Resurecting this as I have a friend with a Riverman mare that might be a good match for Carracci...
Does he have a web site yet? Or just video out on the web?
