Thank you for the good conformation shots, so very necessary when making decisions.

We don't have a direct Caretino son BUT we have an approved son of Casall x Contender x Landgraf stamm 104a.
Dakota VDL is one of Only two approved sons of Casall in NA. He was approved by KWPN in Holland, and is being presented to AHHA and BWP this year.
A fantastic young horse who has strong bone, elegance, elastic movement and sharp jumping technique. He is breeding here this season, and will stand until end of July.
He is worth a look.
Cheers

Considering how hard it's been getting her clean and bred, I'm praying for a black dot... Note to self: NEVER give the 15yo broodmare 2 years off - especially if she doesn't have ideal conformation back there and isn't caslicked...

Yeah but I heard her flush today looked good so just maybe
Viv checked in foal to Carracci. Woot! Woot! Semen rocks as she took on the follicle she ovulated 4 days post insemination.

Congratulations Ponygirl and good luck Kinsella! Kinsella, would you please pm me since you are the "booking agent"? I would love to breed my A Fine Romance/Stage Door Johnny tb mare to this gorgeous talented kind boy. And wow, it appears you have been organizing getting this stallion out there for breeding for a good year, so thank you for that.

Actually Ren, I'm just a fan - especially of the under-promoted, under-used older stallions in this country. I'm truly a supporter of using what great hidden gems we have in this country before they are gone & Carracci is certainly one of those gems.
I'll send your info over to the woman that is handling booking for the owners and wish you the best of luck - I love AFR and bet that will be one NICE baby!!

What a lovely boy! I'm bookmarking this thread as there isn't a website Congrats on the pregnancies.
Regarding Caretino sons, this one has LONG been gelded and showing with juniors.

Look what I did last night!! New (albeit not well reproduced on my part) VIDEO!! This is from WEF 2008 in the Junior Jumpers... Christina was 14 years old - wait til you see the ones from Spain when she was 12!!!
I cheated and recorded it with my iPhone as it played on the computer. I'll try for a better option with the others LOL!

He was 12 in the video from Spain. No idea who trained him, but I do know that kid can RIDE (I didn't know her then, but I do know her now and she is a phenomenal rider).

Olaf Peters trained him as he rode him when he was owned by Gestut Dobel.
