Proud Mommy Syndrome (PMS)
I have to brag a little. My little OTTB mare WAS SO AMAZING at a local show yesterday. This was her first show out o/f. Not only did she jump around a 2 foot course (we didn't do the schooling so she was seeing the fences for the first time) like a pro, she GOT BETTER when she moved up to the 2'6. Yes we did the lines in the add (its 2'6 probably better anyway), but she did AUTO changes AND fixed a few of my mistakes AND took a hold and stretched down to the very base of the fences!
PMS in my world usually stands for Paranoid Mother Syndrome, but that totally changed yesterday. I couldn't stop smiling.

In all my years of riding, doing the jumper, eventing, all of it. This moment takes the cake by far. It was amazing to see all the little pieces of the puzzle come together and what little pieces need to come next! :-)
