    Default Colbert Saddles

Does anyone have any personal experience with these saddles? They are supposed to be a relatively new company started by the two Colbert brothers in Spain. Beval is going to start carrying the line, and a friend has one on trial.

I have NO experience with this company but the saddles on their website look quite good, panels with polyurethane and wool might offer more possibilities in term of modifications... No price tags...

Do you know what kind of price your friend will be paying?

    Bridles seem interresting!

It loooked very attractive but since she was sitting in it at the time, I couldn't really see all that much of it. She didn't mention an exact price, only that the one she was trying was a prototype, so between that and the fact that they are not yet well known, it was very "reasonably priced."

LOL! I would buy a Stephen Colbert saddle any day! Haha.

Well, I contacted the company. I think I'm going to buy one and see how it is. I need a second saddle, but don't want to pony up the dough for another French one... We'll see.

I have one on trial right now. It really feels like a quality saddle. Riding in it tonight.

I looked into these a while back and it appeared as though it was a South American company using an English sounding name. That made me a bit leary however I know someone who purchased one and they are very happy with it. Best thing to do is try it.

Rode in the trial saddle and I love it. My horse also appears to have enjoyed it as he was super swingy in his back.

Flat work was a breeze and dang at least for my it conformation gave a very secure ride in two point and jumping position.

It almost seems to good to be true so I am getting a lesson in it tomorrow, and a saddle fitters opinion monday.
