    is it based on how they ran their derby's or was it programed to have that out come?

    if it was based on time, Monarchos would have won as the track was lightning fast that year

    It doesn't actually explain how they determine outcomes, though. (If it were time alone, as mentioned, Monarchos should have won. And I'm not quite buying that all other things being equal Barbaro could have beaten, say, Silver Charm.)

    This video is best viewed with a tall glass of kool-aid.

    Yeah, Smarty Jones is under urging at 5 furlongs......running a 22.3 quarter to challenge War Emblem at 6 furlongs.

    Then down the stretch the sky opens and down drops Barbarific.......cruising to the wire for jockey Barack Obama.
