I recently lost our Oldenburg Mare to colic at age 26.

Although I know I can never replace her I've started my search for a new equine partner.

Of paramount importance is that my new partner be sound, sweet, generous, quiet, patient, great with dogs and on trails.

I am not a disciplinarian which can result in a horse being pushy or taking advantage. So I hope to find one that is less inclined to do so than average.

I will not compete or jump anything more that a log on a trail. I would like to hack out alone or with company, and do low level dressage work to optimize structural health.

I would keep the horse at Tory Hill Farm in Glen Mills, PA (see details at link below) where, if a gelding, he would be out with a the herd as much as possible but with access to good run in sheds and a stall in inclement weather.

I appreciate any feedback anyone may offer in finding my new equine partner.
