What is her condition? We were at the show but in another ring and heard it was very bad. Prayers headed her way and also to her whole family. A mothers absolute worse nightmare at a horseshow to have her child injured.

That was a TERRIFYING Fall. I didn't see it, but I got to the coliseum right as they got the ambulance up there.

I guess her horse flipped on landing and rolled a few times on top of her trying to get up, and there was a rail underneath. She was screaming when they put the neck brace on her.

Best wishes! A torn trachea seems VERY yucky to me!

JC and her Family are in our prayers. Please keep try to keep us updated on her condition.
JC and Virginia are truly a class act and it is extremely tough to even think of them having to go through this terrible accident.

I was so sorry to hear about the accident. JC is a wonderful girl and tough rider and it's hard to think of her and her mother and the rest of her family going through this. I hope she has a speedy and full recovery and she gets to grace us soon with her pink paddock boots. I'm sure this is hard on Mr. Lane too. He works so hard with all his "girls," I can't imagine how hard this is for him too.

Thinking of JC, Virginia, the rest of the Kennedy family and of course the Lanes.

It truly was a terrible scene at the show yesterday. The fall itself was scary, the horse landed on his nose and somersaulted right on to JC and unfortunately had to push all his weight on her to get back up. What was even worse was the amount of time it seemed too take the ambulance to arrive to the horse center. I'm not sure how long it actually took, but it sure felt like forever.

Any update? The are absolutely the NICEST people. My prayer and thoughts are with them. Does anyone know which horse she was riding--in particular was it grey?

We're all thinking of her down here at Chatham. We were there yesterday and my kid had to go in the ring right after they took JC out. Our thoughts certainly weren't on the round, but with JC and her family.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and thinking of her family and Ed. JC is a great kid and we want her back healthy again soon.
