    Default Poison plants!

Or... The Internet can be a Dangerous Thing!

Over the long, cold winter I was thinking of what plants I might add to my yard. The backyard is fenced for the dogs, so I decided to check for which plants might be dangerous for the dogs. Seems like almost all are...

The sites I looked at had a long list that included most flowering bulbs, rhododendrons and many other common plants. I had known of some of the highly toxic plants but not all these!

Do you worry about your garden plants? Which ones?

BTW, the dogs are only in the yard when I am home and at least checking on them so no long unsupervised time. Not major chewers or diggers except for that towel-chewing thing that produced colorful terry-poop!

Oleander is a very common landscaping plant in my area. I do not use them as they are very toxic for both dogs and horses!!!
