I sincerely hope that isn't true! Mack and Sissy Anderton are lovely people and host wonderful horse shows at their Brownland Farm in Franklin, TN. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Unfortunately it is true. I spent much of my childhood galloping around on ponies at Brownland. RIP Mack.

It is sad to say that everything posted on this site is subject to the disbelief of the unknowing. RIP Mack and condolences to his family.

Mroades, I questioned your post because of the way you phrased it "Just heard that Mack Anderton has passed away". No specifics. Heard where, how, from whom? Rather than repeat something that could possibly have been a rumor, I wanted to know if anyone else could confirm it. How many things have been posted on this board that aren't true, or are factually inaccurate?
I am sad to confirm that it is true.

Apologize for the vagueness...I had just heard...from someone who was there.
I did not feel it proper to go into details out of respect for the family.
He will be missed!
