Glad I could be of help. Got to watch the session today - awesome riding and fabulous instruction. What a great program. Gusbabe's daughter did a wonderful job with Bambino and I'm happy she enjoyed him. There's nothing better than seeing a junior/young amateur rider reaching their goals. They are the future of our sport and the more they can ride with the "greats"" the better future our country has in front of it.

Fingers crossed Bentley feels better soon and that abscess doesn't cause anymore trouble!

I keep hearing more and more stories of EAP riders getting a helping hand when things go wrong. I'm so glad this worked out for this young rider. What a wonderful story and great experience!

    COTH comes through again!

    Thanks for the smile today!

    Awesome!
I am in the process of trying to raise funds for a lovely young lady who was accepted, but is struggling to put the trip together with gas prices etc.
I have had a great response on FB an amongst my colleagues. We are close to having enough that she can go, now lets hope her horse doesn't do anything dumb!!!

Tackpud also helped me find my current horse- a once in a lifetime gem.

She also leased horses to the college team that I coached - we couldn't have had a program without her efforts.

Tackpud is one of those horsepeople who matches the right horse to the right person. It's a gift, really. She helps good horses find their people.

    Thanks again, Tackpud !!
It's 2012. Do you know where your old horse is?

That's awesome, I'm glad your daughter got to do the program!

Btw, for a small world moment, I was friended by a girl who rides last week. I was excited when I realized she had gotten into the EAP like me! Then this morning in my feed someone's status was talking about the EAP and how her horse Bentley had an abscess right before it so she borrowed this awesome horse. Sound familiar?

As for stories of people helping out others for the EAP, it goes both ways. I found a trainer who is super kind and really wants to give others the opportunities she had. But out of about 15 trainers/barns emailed I heard back from maybe four.

Tackpud - That is so kind of you to offer your horse! I am sure you made the girl's day by doing so!

It's just nice to know that genuinely good-hearted people still exist. If I ever get back to the US of A, I want her name and number for some help!

Darden - could not have said this any better!

We got DD's first horse from Tackpud - a fancy TB who is 100% solid citizen - took great care of her and taught her to take great care of her horses! He was everything she promised he would be and more and we still have him even though she has moved on to other horses.

He is one of about five I have gotten from Tackpud over the years - some have been show horses and some have been pasture puffs we needed for babysitters but it didn't matter because they all did just what we needed them to do.

    Tackpud is the BEST!
