Default Kissy Kiss in her new, personalized halter

As noted on the previous thread, Kiss turned 11 last Thursday.

For her birthday, I got her a nice new halter with a nameplate. Glenbaer was kind enough to send me some pics:

    Kissy Kiss -- side
    Kissy Kiss -- front

She's a very pretty girl, and she looks very happy in her new home.

    Default Fabulous!

I just love that horse and she is already looking better. She has such a kind eye and sweet expression. She looks like she is saying "Thank you JER. I'm beautiful because of you and Glenbaer."

    You guys did good!

    Chairman.

Given that we don't know this mare very well, I'm going for something of just over 1/2 TB that passes on a good eventing-friendly temperament and a big jump. That said, Kiss has a wonderful temperament herself.

She and Chairman are also similar in type, which is something I tend to adhere to in breeding.

Blugal, who's worked with my horses and knows what I like, also worked with Chairman in the UK and liked him very much.

What is her breeding? She looks remarkably like my TB Mt Sinai.

JER at my barn, when they get a new halter with their name on it they become "ours." That is my husband's way of finding out the official horse count.

A little late but many, many thanks for helping this lovely horse transition into the sport horse world. I think she'll pay you back in kind. Chairman is perfect.

Best wishes to you and Kissy Kiss.

    Nancy

Assuming you've seen a picture, though, right? Or is my computer just missing it on the web page?

For my friend in Alabama... ()

I actually saw him (in person) in competition, too. You know I tend to be thorough about these things.

But weigh in with any suggestions as you do have a good eye.
