I saw this before. It is pretty cool. Awesome driving going on.

One question--are those real Amish or are they non-Amish in costume?

There are two color groups--yellow and white. They have some sort of vest on, looks rather like a life jacket (not to be snarky, just can;t quite see exactly what they are), can anyone explain? I have never seen the vests before.

My understanding is they were Amish.

I saw somewhere a list of the drivers; most have common amish names, so I would believe that they are all amish.

I'm guessing the vests help them keep each other straight in some of the movements, though not sure.

They have some pretty nice haflingers! Love those ponies, they are hardy and versatile. Maybe someday I'll have one of my own!

LOL - I would edit the heading, as this is no quadrille - looked like there were maybe 10 of them whipping around! Good driving, for sure.

    Wow! Love it.

The Amish girls in their bonnets look so calm and cool. Those little horses worked hard!

A quadrille can be any number of horses four or above.

Sue, they are members of the Ohio Haflinger Association. Some of them may be Amish but not all. The team puts in a lot of hours practicing their drill and they put on a terrific performance.
