ICK!!! I personally do not like gold, but as the others have stated, I also wouldn't spend $200 on a pair of plain jane spurs just because they're Hermes! the straps look like western straps to me.
That Hermes' video link is hilarious! I can't beleive they got poeple to act that way.

The shape and the button for the leathers is old cavalry shape and straps...look for them (but they are nickel and not shiney).

(As an aside why is the Hermes web site so incredibly poorly designed? The links are so slow, the number of products very small. I think some web designers here on Coth should design alternatives and submit them to Hermes.)

Click on "Horse" in the lefthand menu, then select "I am a horse."
I found that rather scary! What were they thinking?? I could only watch about 2 minutes of it ...

    Hahahaha!
I think a lot of high-end fashion is just a joke on the general public, with the designers seeing to what extent they can get people to look and act like idiots and roll over themselves to pay money to do it.

Did you see the ear nets they did for her? They match the coats! And what divine coats they are.

OK: Not impressed w/ the gold ones; I would have expected a somewhat nicer looking strap, AND an option of black vs brown. Will say I like the fact that the two parts of the straps are separate...
Also, these gold ones would bring ZERO response from my girlie. (well, maybe a grunt...) On the other hand, she might respond to the sterling silver ones, but the only launching that would happen would be from a TD or Steward who would launch me out of the show ring...........

HAHA that is hilarious! They are pretty good you know! For presumably non-horsey people. The snappy guy can come visit my barn any time!

I think they are nice spurs, I LOVE the gold on brown, but I am a student so $200 for spurs is a bit much. Actually 200 for something I am likely to lose one or both of is a bit too much!

Go to the site map ( in small letters at the bottom of an Ebay page) and request their feedback then add them to your favorite sellers.

Coreene, there's a nice new Hermes helmet on ebay. And it's in Beverly Hills, close to you. Altho for that price, I'd think they could at least give free shipping.
