I have a 9 year old 17.1 h oldenburg gelding in my care who has been diagnosed as a grade 4 'roarer'. He makes noise at the canter.
I have had different doctors giving different opinions.

One thought his age was against the surgery's susccess. Another thought it'd be easy with a good surgeon The third said therewas a 50-70% chance of success.

What has your experience been? I'd love to know how many success stories are outthere that the horse can be an athlete again and perhaps do the 3'6 hunters quietly after surgery.....
