    Default Shipping

    Hey everyone,

I didn't know where else to post this - sorry in advance if its wrong.

I am looking for a ride for two ponies from VA to Ontario or the Ontario border.

If anyone has some suggestions or help, I would REALLY appreciate it. The shipping quotes I've received are expensive. I realize fuel has gone up.

    Thanks

    Jenna

Try Brookledge--they were the least expensive my client found, and they shipped 2 horses from PA to NM in 2 days!

I shipped a mare from PA to Ottawa this winter via Brookledge. They were also very accommodating and were able to be schedule on quick notice. I have used them many other times (mainly shipping to FL) and they have always had nice tractor trailers that were well maintained.

If you can wait until end (ish) of May, we will be coming home from Devon and you could share our shipper with us. If not, try Mary Mykytyn, she is great. mykytyn@rogers.blackberry.net

We just used Mark Struthers a few weeks ago for the exact reverse trip (Ontario to VA/NC border) - he was very reasonable and I think he goes up and down even to FL all the time. Give him a call or email!

I used them to bring one of my loads of imports home, and they were GREAT folks.

Also try Perry Transport, they go back and forth across the border all the time.

www.travelinghorse.com is good too for mulitple quotes from shippers.

HHHM, things must have changed. I used him twice, never again, and that was a general consensus around here a few years ago.
