    I was almost afraid to watch, after that tough foaling for Laurierace. But this one was thankfully easy. And she did say "buckskin colt".

    She can't get the foal inside the door - too big. Sounds like she has called a neighbor for help.

    buckskin colt was Chiquita on 3/2.

    looks like mama may be passing the placenta now??

    how long before we start to worry about baby not standing? (i am just asking - both of the foals i've had stood within 20-30 minutes of birth..)
