    Smile Florida Polo

    Hi Everyone!

This summer there is a very good possibility that I am going to be in Florida doing a working student position. I have been wanting to try polo for quite a while, and was wondering if anyone has polo connections in the central Florida area. Experiences with polo? Worth it or not?
And this is the story of your red right ankle.

look for someone with nice old dead broke horses to learn from. It is fun but very different....folks that can ride just fine are usually frustrated trying to learn to hit a ball off a moving horse though. If you have natural talent for "ball sports" it won't be so hard though. My step daughter's husband tried it on one of our quiet horses here. He can't ride (you know...went on pony rides as a kid thing) but he was able to pick up the hitting thing in no time flat. He is also a very good lacrosse player...so the ball sport thing does come easily to him.
