So, my precious pooch seems to have caught herself a mild flea infestation, as I saw a couple over the course of the day and she was scratching more than usual.
My groomer told me that Dawn dish soap is great to use so when we got home Miss Lily Bell (much to her delight) went immediately into the sink for a thorough lathering.
When she was all dry I held her near the light and did an inspection.
I found three more fleas -but they were all DEAD.
Meanwhile, the bed sheets went in the wash on hot and her little fleece liner for her carrier has been Dawn-ed as well.
Here's hoping it worked.
Anyone have any other tips?

Have a pest control service come in and do your house--for every flea on that dog there are 20 in your carpet, couch, etc. That's what makes fleas so hard to get rid of.

We had a major, and I mean MAJOR, infestation last year. Comfortis was the only thing that worked.
