    Default Frustrated

I have been under contract with two stallions for two different mares and both contracts have been broken due to stallion injury (which I understand). I know it's getting late in the season so I'm wondering if I should take my time and pick studs for next year or try to find something for this year. I'm looking for a stallion for a Corde la bryere mare and Inselfuerst mare. Looking for a jumper stallion with good movement/jump either within the US or outside does not matter. Should I wait or go for it?

If you're in North America it's not late at all. There are so many nice jumper stallions in the US and Canada. I'm sure lots of people will give you great suggestions for your mares.

I also recommend checking out the stallion pages on the different breed registry sites.

    Good luck!

Well my mare isn't even due until Sept! I wouldn't call you late at all!

Not late at all. I don't even breed my mares to my stallions until May-July. Here in NY, it can snow until April!
