This is old, but I still really like it.

This horse is probably one of very few who scored ribbons at Washington and successfully negotialed about half of the Marylend Hunt Cup. He was also an excellent field hunter and dabbled in eventing.

From almost two years ago.. me and my 22 year old OTTB over 3'6" our first and only time: http://i53.tinypic.com/66elit.jpg

I love his expression... if you didn't know him, you'd think he's a very quiet, chill jumper. His show name is Suicide Run for a reason .

This is my jumper when he was 5. My fav pic as this is his classic style -- http://pets.webshots.com/photo/11209...53911905xRJBMM

This is him fooling around a few years later when he was around 10 or so over 5'. a second too late and I am ducking to catch up to him but at least it is proof he can jump 5' when I bury him to the base, oops! Good boy!: http://pets.webshots.com/photo/24307...53911905DklTsr

I don't have many pics of him in recent years, but he's still going strong at 16. Love my old man and his powerful jump! Horse of a lifetime, found him running barrels. Bought him on a feeling. Best move ever.

    Dakota and Madeline -

I love those pictures! I love the rider's hands and the steady legs. I love the traditional look in Madeline's - that's the sport I aspired to when I started riding in '67. Where'd it go? I think Dakota may have found it, with a different "habit".

Pixie - how lucky were you to have that one in your life?!

Facebook photos still unviewable for us unsocial site users.

When I've had a bad day, this picture makes me smile

My 1.10 child/adult horse heard we were riding in the "Grand Prix" ring, figured he oughta try clearing 1.60m and impress the GP horses.

And my favorite picture, that's just classic him

Though it was only set at 1.10 that's definitely the biggest jump I've jumped, in terms of distance between me and the ground! Thought I was going to die!

This one is my first time doing the higher jumper class in Germany last summer. My expression clearly shows I'm scared ****less.

    https://www.facebook.com/album.php?i...874626&theater

This one is better with smaller fences and more my comfort level (equitation vs speed)

    https://www.facebook.com/album.php?i...874626&theater

I miss this horse. He was my favorite of all my German horses, but was sadly deemed too old to import. Next time somone posts this thread I'll have some good ones of me on this one (below), who did come home to the US with us

    https://www.facebook.com/album.php?i...874626&theater
(not me on him, lol. He'd have jumped me right out of the tack)
