I think I lucked out on my goats. I have two bucks (both named Oliver, though one we call Bill...long story on the naming issue ) though one was supposed to be a wether by now but we are waiting until he recuperates from a recent dog attack... Anyway, we have them and two does and they're really pretty clean. They do have a bit of a stronger smell during mating season but overall not too bad. I admit I also kind of like that goat smell so maybe I'm just crazy and you shouldn't listen to me.

Anyway, as far as dogs again, I have had the entire or mostly entire deer and elk legs brought in and that isn't a big deal to me. My neighbor shoots coyotes when he sees them around so my dogs frequently bring home coyote parts with skin and/or flesh (usually just skin really since we are in a desert and they dry out quickly). I've had coyote limbs brought into my house because I thought they were sticks in the dark more than once. My favorite, though, was little Wooby, a 30 pound heeler who used to belong to my neighbors until she decided she belonged to me, chewing on a coyote head that still looked very coyote-ish...just the eyes were gone. Fortunately she found that while we were on a trail ride so I solved the problem by cantering away so she had to run flat out to keep up and couldn't carry her prize with her!
