I know there were a bunch of us trying to lose weight. How's everyone been doing?!
Since I started losing weight approximately 9 months ago I've gone from 189 to 162 Still quite a bit left to go! I'd like to get down into the 130s. I'm doing the 30 day slim down from Jillian Michaels right now and love it! I'm not losing the weight as quickly but I'm definitely losing inches!
So how's everyone else doing?

Not following any real program but just being more careful and I have noticed a change in the way my clothes fit........have to adopt a new theme song - Bob Rivers' Butt Cracker Suite - as I havent a pair of pants that don't creep downward or downright fall off now. Feels good

I am low-carbing, and have lost 15 pounds in three solid weeks...not saying where I started, huh-uh, don't ask. But just this little bit has dropped me from size 'OH-MY-GOD-LOOK-AT-HER-ASS' down to size 18 jeans. Since I carried most of my weight in my middle, it has increased my motivation quite a bit to just drop two waist sizes in jeans. It has also provided me with the rare sight of my own....hmmm...perhaps that is TMI.
I have not been exercising much, however. I write, and when I do it can mean most of my free time is spent doing just that. As the weather improves, I will be walking, because that is my most favorest thing besides writing.
Anyone wants to learn a great deal about low carbohydrate eating, there is a movie called "Fat Head" on Netflix. Watch it...it is an education!
I wasn't planning to go on a diet, but I lost 17 pounds in five weeks on the 17-day diet. I am just thrilled about it. I'm trying to lose about 15 more. I've already lost a couple of inches from my waist and I feel so much better. I think I'm riding better, too, although it took a while to adjust to the new me in terms of balance.
I began the HCG diet a year ago (did a round in March and one in May), and went from 160 to 125. I feel so good! I'm now about 3-4 pounds away from wearing a size 4.
I have to say, it's such a relief not to be heavy anymore. And I'm just thrilled that I've had no problem keeping it off, because every time I lost weight before, that was my big downfall -- though of course I realize most people struggle with that.....
I am going to have to fight my weight for the rest of my life.
This week I have been having horrible cravings for some reason. I have been on antibiotics for two weeks which hasn't helped at all. Today we went to Ruby's for dinner. I resisted getting the guace and chips. I ate a salad and cried on the inside. I came home and had my Medifast softserve coffee ice cream.
