    Talking New Foal

I am proud to announce the birth of Belle's (Sheza Scrappy Star) first foal, a beautiful dun colt, by Night Deposit Chex which was born on the 11th. Both are doing extremely well.

I have not choosen a name either barn or one for the AQHA yet, any suggestion wouldn't hurt.

I forgot to get any photos of the baby with my cell phone since, I was so exicted to see this foal one ground. I will try to fix that asap .

Due to some other things, the first time I saw the foal was today, and we had to give him a shot. Belle acted up alittle but mainly nickered at the foal when he got behind her.

Thanks and while it is a cool sounding name, I think I already saw it on another horse.

Very cute foal....and very well bred. I think Chex In The Mail may be taken (could be a Paint though so if not taken in QH you could go for it!). Other thoughts....Mailed the Chex, Mail the Chex, Mailin The Chex...will work on some more.

    Got more coming?

Waiting here....first not due until late March/early April...pasture bred so not sure of exact due dates. All by my bay tobiano Doc Bar grandson and several of the mares are HZ tobiano so could be some fun.

Nope, that is all I have for this year, I only own one brood mare. and I bought her to help a friend out and to get my feet wet in the breeding game, and since I wanted to try my hand at it I decided to get a good stallion and one that matched her well, she is big, stocky, and strong I went for an athlete and look at what i found in my back yard to say.

I think there should be a rule to leave foal stories and pictures in the breeder's forum.

Those of us on the 12 step foal withdrawal watch get jiggery when those threads show up here.

Guess that we will have to keep practicing abstinence and not open those threads.
