    Default S/I "joint" and injections

Quick question -after seeing how the anatomy fits together a few weeks ago, I'm wondering HOW this can possibly be injected since it seems to be less of a "joint" than an...interface?
and on multiple planes, no less.

    just trying to educate myself....thanks!
