Default San Diego area barns that allow you to jump outside of lessons

    Hi COTHers,

There is a possibility I might be relocating to the San Diego area.

I'm looking for a barn that has jumps and allows jumping outside of a lesson. I know this is getting rarer and rarer these days but can't afford to lesson everytime I want to jump. A little backyardy (ghetto, even) is ok as long as it's safe and the care is good. A good H/J trainer or a barn with other adult ammies would be good- finding someone interested in picking up a few rides or possibly half leasing would be a bonus. Budget friendly is important.

I will be working in the mission valley area and am willing to commute- although will be working a lot of required O/T and if it's farther away, would need someone capable of getting my horse out when I can't, even if it's just for turn outs. Horsey is well behaved.

    Thanks!
It's not having what you want, it's wanting what you've got.

My friend trains out that way. She doesn't own the barn, but I know the barn allows boarders not involved in her program. I do not think she would have a problem with you jumping outside of lessons even if you were training some with her. PM me if you are interested. I can give you her number/e-mail. I am not sure exactly where she is in San Diego.
