    Default WEF Grand Prix tonight?

When is the Grand Prix supposed to start tonight? The live feed isn't working for me yet...

I can't believe no one has mentioned what a poor sport Mario Deslauriers was after his fall...not even a sideways glance at his horse as he stomped out of the ring.

Yes do you know if the girl taken in the ambulance is ok? It was hard to tell on the live feed whether or not she'd been knocked unconscious. What a lovely horse though! You don't see too many horses capable of/willing to be a packer at that level.

I didn't get to watch it, as I was dealing the ponies in the pouring rain all day, but somehow Mario's behavior does not surprise me. Can't wait to watch the video

It was disgusting! What a poor sport, and even less of a horseman!

I think they said the girl was going to be ok....that triple was unreal. However it was a typical Steve Stephens course...looked a lot like the Am Invitational.

I thought it actually looked like Mario was hurt after the fall as I would be surprised if he didn't stop to check on his horse on the way out.

I would have to be unconcious not to check on my horse after it ran around the ring with its bridle between its legs....

Frankly, if I were the owner, he would lose the ride on that horse. Today was total, 100% pilot error, as was his disastrous WEG. If he's grumpy about it then shame on him.

Sitting amongst the Canadian contingent at WEG, one of our group was quick to say that "he was our secret agent" after that particular performance

Editing to add that coming from a gentleman with a rather dry scottish sense of humour, and absolutely beautiful comedic timing made the moment priceless.

Agreed. There are plenty of other good riders out there who actually care about their horses. What a jerk. Complete disregard for the horse's well being. Send him back to Canada!

anyone know where full first round video is? I watched some but couldn't watch whole thing. I see 2nd round posted. I don't really want to see the crashes but have to admit I am curious to see what happened with Mario, he was riding Urico correct?

Urico hung up in the air and swam through the last oxer of the triple combination. I was sitting right by that jump- it was pretty scary to see it up close. Thank goodness the horse did not appear to be hurt.
